Service Description
$325 · Ages 7–14 · M/W/F 9am–12pm · 6 kids max · All materials included · Polymer clay take-home on Friday · Ceramic pieces kiln-fired and ready for pickup 2–3 weeks after camp ends Every kid has an animal they’ve always wanted to make. This week, they do. Kids will sculpt creatures inspired by real life, mythology, or pure imagination—anything from frogs and foxes to dragons, hybrids, and beasts no one’s ever seen before. Monday is for building: bodies, legs, tails, wings, texture, and the challenge of making clay hold up a round belly on four tiny feet. Wednesday is detail day, when the creatures firm up and start to come alive. Kids carve scales, feathers, fur, claws, teeth, horns, and all the little decisions that make a sculpture feel real. If there’s time, they can begin a second smaller creature. Friday is for underglaze painting—stripes, spots, glowing eyes, strange markings, soft bellies, wild colors. If there is time each child has the opportunity to make a polymer clay animal keychain to take home that afternoon. Camp runs with a minimum of 3 enrolled students. Families will be notified in advance if minimum enrollment is not met.
